Aims of IQAC

To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Student Grievance Redress

The objective of the Student Grievance Redressal Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain harmonious educational atmosphere in the Institute. High Priority is given by the Management to address the complaints/grievances of the students and they are resolved at the earliest. With the help of the Principal, Director, Deans and HODs this cell provides timely support and help to students regarding their grievances. Suggestions/Complaint Boxes are placed in prominent places for the students.

The grievances of the students are a matter of top most priority for the college and the matter is resolved within the stipulated time.

Principal is the chairman of the institutional level Grievance Redressal Cell. The committee consists of HODs of various department, few faculty members, administrative officer and estate officer of the college. If any charge remains unsolved at the departmental level, students can register it for consideration at the college level cell.

Grievances with regard to academic matters, Continuous Evaluation etc., are redressed through student grievance redressal committee.

The grievances pointed out by the students in the meeting such as repairs and maintenance in the college and hostel, water purifiers, napkin vending machine, canteen and improving sports facility were amicably resolved by the college level cell.

Exclusions

SGRC shall not entertain following issues.

Decisions of the Academic Council / Board of studies and other Academic / Administrative committees constituted by the College.
Decisions with regard to Award of Scholarships / Fee concessions / Awards / Medals.
Decisions made by college under the Discipline Rules and Misconduct.

Complaint Boxes have been installed in front of the Principal’s room, in which the Students, who want to remain anonymous, can put in writing their grievances and their suggestions for improving the academics/administration in the College.
Students can lodge a complaint.
The person concerned can personally approach to any member of the Cell.
The issues will be attended promptly on receipt of grievances from the students.
The cell will review all complaints and will act formally accordingly as per the policy.
The cell will give report to the principal about the issues attended to and the number of pending issues, if any, which require direction and guidance from the Principal.
